The brief
Royal Caribbean was in the process of restructuring Homeport to focus on their Royal Caribbean brand, as their main cruise line and trade channel. At Elephants Can Dance, I was tasked to create scalable designs that can highlight their main brand, as well as improve Homeport’s overall usage, visual design and site navigation.
The Challenge
How might we improve top line communication between Royal Caribbean’s trade channel with its travel agents and channel partners through the Homeport portal? How might we present all of Royal Carribean’s tools of the trade to travel agents and communicate their latest offers, news, and services?

BRAND EXPERIENCE
Homeport is all about highlighting the cruise experience of thrill and travel to adventure seekers of all ages. We built an interactive and engaging welcome for travel agents to see featured cruises.

DISCOVERY
A one stop shop for all your tools of trade
I defined the top user stories and listed down user tasks that should be prioritised. By doing so, we highlighted the importance of all trade resources and designed it as the main focus of the dashboard— promoting the ease of use and accessibility.

BUILT TO ADAPT
We designed a flexible platform that could work seamless across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices so travel agents can access their tool of trade- anytime, anywhere.

KEEPING UP TO DATE
Offers and news are the top user goals and tasks of travel agents whenever they access the Homeport portal. With this, we built a seamless tab component where users can easily switch and scroll through the best and latest.

From flyers to brochures, marketing assets to agent forms, we made tools accessible for travel agents to worry less and allow them to focus on selling travel experiences with their guests.

GLOBAL STYLING
Since Homeport is envisaged to eventually promote Royal Caribbean Cruises only, I have carefully thought out the colour patterns and highlight its brand to the forefront. This meant using its iconic blues to highlight key call outs, primary buttons and action across pages.
